I’m a lifestyle coach specialising in female strength training and nutritional education so that not only will you get results, but you’ll also learn how to keep them too.

I know how frustrating the fitness industry can be;

Fad diets, meal plans, unsustainable training plans and far too much HIIT training pedalled as the miracle cure to get you the physique you want.

I’m here to show you that there’s another way; you can have a training plan you enjoy, you can go out to eat at the weekend and you can navigate your working life with your physique goals too. You can have a great relationship with food, better body image, more self compassion and feel incredible.

As for me? I fell in love with lifting over a decade ago and I haven’t looked back. My aim isn’t to be the leanest, or the strongest, or the fittest. It’s about consistently being better than I was before and having a great time whilst I do it. As much as I love training and eating well, I also love a Gin on a Thursday, going out for dinner and chilling with a good film.

The Strong Women Collective (SWC) is for women who have tried e v e r y t h i n g when it comes to losing weight and gaining muscle, and are sick and tired of the bullshit being pedalled by the fitness industry.

Over the decade of coaching, I have helped hundreds of women to build stronger bodies, break away from food fears, build habits that last longer than an 8 week shred and learn to love who they are.

I've gained SO much confidence, not just in my appearance but also my abilities in the gym. I used to hate using free weights and the thought of deadlifting on Olympic platforms made me feel so nervous, now I stride over with so much confidence and smash out three sets of 75kg RDLs - I never thought I'd be able to lift a fraction of that!

What’s been your biggest highlight of the SWC?

The structure and sticking to the gym sessions which I have found so much easier to do. I haven't always managed all 3 due to childcare but have made sure I pushed myself and kept to my routine and goals

How has your mindset changed throughout? Have your goals changed because of this?

Yes, I have been much more focused on the gym side of things which I ways found excuses for before too cold, too tired etc with SWC I've just got it done and ignored those excuses (because they were still there)

How did you find the training programme?

I hate Bulgarian split squats you evil creature!!

But seriously, very good. Been able to follow everything and have adapted for those where I didn't have the equipment in the gym. Loved having the videos as well, really handy to remind myself on what form should be or range of motion etc

Biggest takeaway?

I can do this!! It's my responsibility to make the changes. I'm not going to just wake up and be stronger or anything, it's actually the opposite as I get older

What’s been your biggest highlight of the SWC?

Finally getting it! The change in my mindset has been huge and I’ve learnt so much which was exactly what I wanted from this program.

I feel so much happier & confident.

How has your mindset changed throughout? Have your goals changed because of this?

It used to very much about the number on a scale even though I tried not to be I just couldn’t help it. My goals now not based on how I look or numbers (except on the bar). I want to get stronger and be healthier.

How did you find the training programme?

I was dubious to start with as have been very hiit & cardio heavy for years. Recently done some met con style workouts and wondered how this style would work for me. I really missed the sweat to start with but I’ve grown to love it. I get excited about trying heavier & previously unattainable weights/moves.

Biggest takeaway?

Enjoy your life! Do what makes you happy. Some of the things you think that are important aren’t at all. Most importantly love yourself.
